THE WHOLE TRUTH RETREAT PLANT-BASED CLEANSE: 3-28 days

​The Whole Truth Retreat's Plant Based Cleanse offers exceptional nutrition through plant-based meals. Our menus are created from seasonal ingredients, mostly locally and organically grown; and include a high proportion of living foods, varying from 50 to 100%. Past retreatants have been amazed and delighted by the inventive and utterly delicious meals that are freshly prepared by Tasha- often once- off creations that are tailored to their specific preferences and health requirements.

Living food retains vitamins, phytonutrients and enzymes and life force that can be compromised by the cooking process. Colourful meals are super-charged with the energy of potent healing foods, herbs with medicinal properties, sprouts and flowers. Plentiful fibre assists in cleansing the gut and revitalising the microbiome.

Eliminating all meat and dairy products and refined or processed foods, including wheat, caffeine and sugar from the diet gives the body a welcome rest and often relieves digestive and inflammatory conditions within days.

 

Without the strain of over-eating and hard to digest meals you may experience increased energy levels, natural weigh loss and a quieter, nore restful mind. Everything you consume on retreat, including the incredible desserts are

In preparation for your retreat, you will receive a personal telephonic consultation, to ascertain your current health status and any specific challenges you may be facing. be sent a pre-cleanse programme sent to you in advance of the retreat. Implemented properly, over 1- 2 weeks, this offers a gentle transition to live foods, reducing the detox symptoms that may be experienced during the course of the retreat and enabling a deeper cleanse.

Meals are served twice daily,  at 10am and 6pm according to an intermittent fasting protocol, with fruit available between brunch and supper, should it be required. Intermittent fasting allows the body to fully digest and eliminate during the fasting hours, as well as undertaking cleansing and repair functions that may be deferred when the body is constantly digesting.

 

Vitamins, herbal remedies and pro-biotics are taken daily to support the detoxification and healing process. In addition to this, you will receive a cleansing drink each morning to alkalise the body's pH, and unlimited organic herbal teas. 

​

On retreat, you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in food preparation if desired, and participants often leave with recipes and new food preparation skills, as well as the inspiration and resolve to truly nourish themselves with their food choices.  A plan for the reintroduction of other foods will be given on the final day, assisting in identifying and eliminating foods to which your body is reactive.

Sample Programme: Water Fasting Retreat (7 Days)

 

Pre-Retreat

1–2 weeks at home: Transition to a lighter, cleaner diet with whole, plant-based foods. A full guide is provided to support your preparation and reduce detox symptoms.

Post-Retreat Support

The journey continues at home with a gradual food reintroduction plan, helping you identify what truly nourishes you. Ongoing resources, recipes, and guidance are provided for integrating the insights and new habits that arise during your fast.

SAMPLE: WHOLE TRUTH RETREAT CLEANSE (7 Days)

 

PRE - RETREAT: Pre Cleanse at home (1-2 weeks)

DAY 1 – Arrival Day

Light fruit meals or juices to begin slowing down the system.

DAY 2 – Juice & Ease

Fresh juices and colon cleansing to ease the transition into fasting. Gentle movement and grounding practices.

DAY 3 – Begin Water Fast

First full day of water fasting, supported by rest, breathwork, herbal teas (optional), and colonics.

DAY 4 – Deep Cleanse

Continued water fast. Participants may also choose to explore dry fasting under guidance, depending on readiness.

DAY 5 – Integration Support

Return to light juice if needed, or continue water fasting. Emotional release and energy shifts are supported through somatic or meditative practices.

DAY 6 – Preparation for Breaking Fast

Juice and mineral broth are slowly reintroduced. Integration circle and gentle movement to support coming back into the body.

DAY 7 – Breaking the Fast

Break fast with fresh seasonal fruit. Depart with a lovingly prepared raw meal for the road, and a personalised reintroduction plan for food and lifestyle
